Wow and i mean WOW! Now is the time to take yourself and your spouse or kids or friends to the beach...namely Tunnel Park. It was incredible. The water was clear, calm refreshing (yes it warmed up) and there were only about 3 other families! The sun was shinning and it was 75 degrees.
UNFORTUNETLY ethan decided to throw an hour tantrum because he wanted to go back and play on the slides instead of the beach. I was out of options to make him stop crying. It was one of those nasty tantrums that go on and on and on and time outs, a spank on the bum or 3, and bribing all have ZERO effect on him whatsoever. He was going to cry and scream until he got his way..i dont care if you threw pounds of candy and ice-cream at him...he wasn't going to stop.
If you've never experienced this, its not because your such an "awesome super mom"...its because you have a kid that hasn't thrown a tantrum (truly) yet. Hopefully this never happens to you especially in public. I am a great mom, I just happen to have a child that at times can be very STUBBORN!!! Having a 3 year old is so so so humbling. I can never judge another mother in a certain single instance with a kid that is throwing a tantrum....it can happen to the best of moms. So if it happens to you, hold on tight and after a while you'll end up carrying 2 fat HEAVY kids full of sand, screaming to BOTH be held UP the sand dunes, up the stairs, through the tunnel PASSED the swings (hint hint...this kids not getting a reward for this by enjoying some jungle gym time)and you may even find yourself LAUGHING at the top of your lungs while onlookers tip there heads......THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME! i was actually laughing at the top of my lungs (my head was even tipped back) while my two babies screamed all the way back...one in each arm.
